Bellingham Open Space Committee elects Chad Kelley chair and endorses $100K regional trail study. Conservation Agent Hannah Chace briefed the committee on the Charles Headwaters Greenway, a multi-town feasibility project in Bellingham, Mendon, and Blackstone funded by a $100,000 Mass Trails grant to connect regional trail networks across central Massachusetts. The committee unanimously approved the 2025 Annual Report with one abstention from Danielle Dulchinos and approved October 29, 2025 meeting minutes unanimously.
Members reached consensus on park signage standards developed by Doug Martin with suggested edits from Danielle Dulchinos, to be funded through Bellingham Parks via a previous DPW appropriation. The committee set 2026 goals including trail identification and uploads to AllTrails and Google Maps.
