Commission rejects waiver for Blackstone Street road

Conservation Commission · Meeting of June 10, 2026

Bellingham Conservation Commission rejects one of four waivers for Blackstone Street roadway project. Wall Street Development Corp. sought waivers for road widening to 20 to 22 feet and stormwater infrastructure; the board denied one request in a disputed 3-2 vote on June 10 while approving three others, with the hearing continuing to June 24. In separate enforcement action, the commission revoked an enforcement order at 445 Hartford Ave after Scoops Realty LLC developed an indoor bin-washing system to address Buffer Zone violations.

At 43 Easy Street, the board issued an enforcement order requiring Benjamin and Shannon Bogolea to relocate chicken coops and a camper trailer by June 27.
