Conservation Commission continues 16 Red Mill development hearings

BELLINGHAM — Conservation Commission defers sixteen lots for Red Mill development. The Bellingham Conservation Commission continued 16 permit hearings for the proposed Red Mill residential project on Mechanic Street and Mill Street to May 13. Chair Michael O'Herron led continuances on a 455 Hartford Ave commercial building and Blackstone Street infrastructure improvements, both by unanimous voice vote.
The Commission voted 5 to 0 with one abstention from member Nicole Forsyth to continue the Red Mill amendment request and initial lot applications. In enforcement actions, it voted unanimously to advance a Lake Street wetland violation case to May 13 while scheduling Easy Street property owners to return June 10 with a remediation plan.
