Council on Aging board gains Racicot as voting member

BELLINGHAM — The Bellingham Council on Aging restructured its board in March, promoting associate member Steve Racicot to voting status after Tina Arsenault's resignation. Chairperson Kay Page told the board that Arsenault was unable to remain as an associate member and asked Racicot, who attends all meetings, to move into voting membership. The board now numbers eight members with a required quorum of five for voting.
Treasurer Dave Dunbar reported that 61.87 percent of the $334,851 annual budget had been spent as of March 4, and Assistant Director Terri Graham reported that the newly launched Thrive After Therapy program drew 15 participants on its opening day.
