Fall travel soccer tryouts headline Bellingham Soccer Association's week as grades 3–8 take the field.

BELLINGHAM -- The Bellingham Soccer Association held its Fall 2026 travel soccer tryouts during the week of June 22–28, giving players in grades 3 through 8 a chance to earn team placements for the upcoming season. Tryouts were scheduled across three evenings: grades 3/4 on June 23 (5:30–7:00 p.m.), grades 5/6 on June 24 (5:30–7:00 p.m.), and grades 7/8 on June 25 (5:30–7:00 p.m.). The BSA forms competitive travel teams beginning in third grade through eighth grade for both girls and boys, with placements determined by tryout performance and coach evaluations.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- The Bellingham Soccer Association also reminded the community that referees are needed for the coming season. Prospective referees must be at least 14 years old, though players who will turn 14 before the season may take the Grade 9 referee course in advance. Those interested can find more information on the BSA website.

Looking ahead, the BSA board will hold its July meeting on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the North Community Building — the white building across the street from Stallbrook Elementary School (the former Fire Station No. 3). The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m., with the first 30 minutes reserved for public attendees.
