Finance Committee recommends $14.3 million in FY27 budgets

BELLINGHAM — Finance Committee advances $14.3 million in FY27 municipal budgets to Annual Town Meeting. The committee voted unanimously Monday to recommend all departmental spending plans, with presentations from Interim Chief Financial Officer C. Correia, Town Administrator J.

Laydon, and department chiefs. Fire and Police Departments represented the two largest allocations at $5.17 million and $5.71 million respectively, with eleven other municipal departments ranging from Zoning at $8,000 to Conservation at $122,238 also recommended.
