Finance Committee Unanimously Recommends All FY2027 Departmental Budgets

Bellingham Finance Committee unanimously recommends approximately $3.36 million in FY2027 departmental budgets. The committee voted 6-0 to recommend individual budgets for ten departments, including Library at $739,485, Public Buildings Maintenance at $446,337, and Council on Aging at $353,377, as presented by Town Administrator J. Laydon.
The committee also voted unanimously to combine 20 smaller departments with budgets of $60,000 or less, totaling $578,225. All 30 departmental budgets received unanimous committee approval.
