Parks Commission approves prior minutes, plans parks maintenance schedule.

Parks Commission · Meeting of March 9, 2026

BELLINGHAM — Parks Commission approves January minutes and receives budget update from DPW. Director Jesse Riedel reported the Parks Department absorbed a town-wide budget reduction but expects no service-level impact; new seasonal employees will backfill departing staff, with hiring levels tied to available budget hours. Member Doug Martin will coordinate sign installation at Silver Lake and Arcand Park through Signs by Cam and plans to invite youth sports organization leaders to a future meeting.

Chairman William L. Roberts emphasized cemetery preparation ahead of Memorial Day.
