Planning Board approves Grove Street subdivision
Planning Board · Meeting of June 11, 2026
Bellingham Planning Board approves Grove Street subdivision after revisions. Applicants and owners John and Robin McCarthy won approval for a Back Lot Division Special Permit to subdivide approximately 10.5 acres of agriculturally-zoned land at 40 Grove Street, allowing one resulting lot to have less than the required frontage. Plans incorporated a 50-foot no-cut buffer easement on Lot 2 and removed a gun range previously proposed.
In other business, the board continued three Hartford Avenue projects to July 23, including a 10,000-square-foot retail building and a 3,500-square-foot bank with drive-through, both by Rte. 85 Realty Corp., and a 21,450-square-foot industrial flex-use building by H & B Realty Management LLC.
