Planning Board approves Hartford Avenue commercial project with three waivers

BELLINGHAM — Planning Board unanimously approves 455 Hartford Avenue commercial development after granting three zoning waivers. The board approved the Development Plan and Flexible Special Permit for Darn Properties' 7,320 square foot multi-tenant commercial building after voting unanimously to allow stormwater basins in fill material and reduce drain pipes from 12 to 6 inches, and approving by majority a waiver to reduce fence height to 4 feet. Two Hartford Avenue projects sought by Rte. 85 Realty Corp., a retail building and a bank, were continued to March 12, as were Blackstone Street improvements proposed by Wall Street Development Corp.
