Bellingham Planning Board continues development cycle to May 14. The board unanimously postponed hearings on a proposed back lot division at 40 Grove Street, an industrial building at 316 Hartford Avenue, and two Hartford Avenue retail projects (a 10,000-square-foot retail building and a 3,500-square-foot bank with drive-through) proposed by Rte. 85 Realty Corp., extending the final decision deadline to May 29. The board also unanimously classified Walmart's proposed sign expansion at 250 Hartford Avenue—seeking a height increase to approximately 115 feet during a store remodel—as a major modification requiring additional review.
