Selectboard · Meeting of January 12, 2026

Bellingham Select Board approves mattress recycling fee. The three-member quorum unanimously authorized a $60 disposal fee for wet or soiled mattresses at the Recycle Center under a new vendor arrangement, and approved renewals of a Common Victualler and Bulk Storage license pending inspections and payment resolution. The Board submitted its annual renewal certification to the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission, noting Lucille's Steakhouse Inc. did not renew, and estimated seasonal population at 500 as of July 10, 2026.
