Bellingham Historical Commission unanimously accepts donations and updates meeting procedures. The commission accepted donations from the Whiting family and a 1971-1972 baseball jacket from Marc Belhumeur during its May 18 meeting led by Chair Jeffrey Prescott, with members Rick Marcoux, Franco Tocchi, Lauren Hummel, Bernadette Rivard, and Jennifer Russo participating. The body unanimously approved revised language clarifying meeting agenda procedures and how items may be discussed.
The Fire Engine Restoration Committee's fundraising campaign officially kicked off, with the restored truck making its public debut at the town's Memorial Day Parade with banners and QR codes directing the public to the restoration website.
