Bellingham Historical Commission receives $10,000 gift to launch fire truck restoration fundraising. The Edward W. Guzowski Family Trust's donation will be presented to the Select Board on April 27 for formal acceptance.
The commission is selling commemorative fire patches and has established a donor process requiring completed forms; contributions exceeding $250 will receive formal acknowledgement from the Town Treasurer. Chair Jeffrey Prescott and member Rick Marcoux are coordinating the restored truck's debut in the Memorial Day Parade, while members Bernadette Rivard and Lauren Hummell are planning Revolutionary War museum exhibits before Memorial Day.
