Planning Board · Meeting of October 8, 2026

BELLINGHAM — The Planning Board continued the Aldrich Farms 12-lot subdivision hearing to Nov. 12 after the peer reviewer said his firm was out of funds. Matt Cody of Beals and Thomas, who said his firm had finished three reviews, told the board "progress has been made" but flagged soil testing, tree clearing, a four-foot versus six-foot basin fence, and a sidewalk grade too steep for accessibility standards on a stretch of roughly 500 to 600 feet. Applicant Lou Petroli said the plan would leave about 13,000 cubic yards of surplus material on site.

The continuance passed 5-0. The board also took a roll call on endorsing a street acceptance after the Department of Public Works backed it conditional on its punch list.
