Bellingham Council on Aging approves budget, launches therapy program. Chair Kay Page and the Council unanimously approved the January treasurer's report, showing 46.51 percent of the $334,851 general fund expended as of January 5. Director Josie Dutil announced the new Thrive After Therapy program launching in February, providing free physical therapy paired with group supervision and funded by a Massachusetts Council on Aging grant.
The Council also approved expansion of meal service at the Senior Center to Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting in February, moving from advance ordering to menu-based selection.
